| Personal Statement:I believe I should be your tutor because I am a well-organized, patient person that enjoys fun and games while learning educational lessons. I'm well-educated in various mathematical levels and passed my AP Calculus AB exam and my AP Statistics exam. I have a 12 year old brother, who I help regularly on his math homework. So I have the necessary experience to help the student to gain to their full potential in mathematics. While tutoring my little brother, I was able to engage him in analytical mathematical discussions and understanding of the subject. I took 11 years of Chinese School and is fluent in the language. I will be able to converse in the language and can help the students in their pronunciation. Since I have a little brother, I understand what the current generation is in to. | Personal Statement:I graduated from high school as a Valedictorian in 2004 and continued my education in civil engineering at UCLA. Over the past four years, I have been actively involved in student groups and especially civil engineering competitions. I have maintained a GPA around 3.5 and have accomplished much more than just A's and B's. I'll be awarded a BS degree in a couple of weeks and will continue my education towards a MS degree in Stanford university. I started tutoring in high school and continued it through college.
